Malkat HaYofi (Miss Israel) 2017 concluded on Tuesday, May 9 with the crowning of the country’s representatives to the Miss World and Miss Universe beauty pageants.
Rotem Rabi was hailed as Queen of Israel 2017 and will compete in Miss World 2017 in Sanya, China.
Rabi, a 21-year-old model from Jerusalem, registered for the contest last year but had to pull out to start a modeling career in Milan.
Meanwhile, Adar Gandelsman was crowned Girl of Israel 2017. This 19-year-old beauty from Ashkelon will represent the country in the next edition of Miss Universe.
The rest of the Top 4 finalists were Noya Ariely and Dana Solomon. A total of 16 candidates competed in the pageant.
The winners were chosen online via Ynet together with a panel of judges that included Miss World Israel 2010 Shavit Wiesel.
Israel last won the Miss World title in 1998 with Linor Abargil and the Miss Universe crown in 1976 with Rina Messinger. Missosology.Org
