Maria Wavinya was crowned the brand new Miss World Kenya through the finals held October 5 on the Two Rivers Mall in Nairobi.
The 18-year-old mass communication pupil will head on to symbolize the east African nation on the 2019 Miss World finals in London in December.
“It still feels like a dream, for my name now ceases to be Wavinya Maria to Kenya,” she posted on Instagram.
Elsie Hemsi Stephens and Bernice Nunah positioned first and second runners-up, respectively.
Also crowned in the identical event is the brand new Mr World Kenya Frank Asoyo, who will compete within the subsequent version of the Mr World contest.
