Miss World is introducing a new format for its 2017 edition.
Called “”Head to Head Challege”, 20 groups of 6 countries (the number of which may be adjusted according to the final number of contestants) will go head-to-head in events that take place between October 21 to November 15 at different locations the Miss World 2017 candidates will be visiting.
The winner of each challenge group will automatically qualify for the Miss World Top 40. If a contestant does not win her Head to Head challenge, she still has a chance to be in the Top 40 by winning a fast track or through judges selections.
The Top 40 will be comprised of the 20 head to head challenge winners, 5 fast track winners (Beauty With A Purpose, Multimedia, Sports, Talent and Top Model), and 15 judges selection.
