Michaela Söderholm from Helsinki was crowned Miss Suomi 2017 on Sunday, October 1.
The 25-year-old beauty will represent Finland at the 2017 Miss Universe competition to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA in November.
“I dreamed about this since childhood. It feels great! It was a pleasure for the dream to work,” Söderholm was quoted on Iltalehti.
Adriana Gerxhalija and Pihla Koivuniemi were first and second runners-up, respectively.
Finland has two Miss Universe crowns courtesy of Armi Helena Kuusela (the first Miss Universe, 1952) and Anne Pohtamo (1975). Missosology.Org
