After months of preparation, Panama has crowned its first queen for 2017.
Julianne Britton, Miss Taboga, was named Señorita Panamá Mundo 2017 during the finals held Tuesday, July 4, at the Centro de Convenciones Atlapa in Panama City.
The 21-year-old business administration student will compete at the 2017 Miss World finals to be held in China in November. Britton is also a professional singer and beach volleyball player.
Erika Parker (Colón) placed first runner-up while Karol Dayana Batista (Los Santos) was second runner-up. Ana Cristina “Titi” Del Castillo (Isla Flamenco) and Laura De Sanctis (Isla Contadora) finished thrid and fourth runners-up, respectively.
The rest of the 19 contestants will still compete in August 3 for the Señorita Panamá 2017 finals, where the representatives for Miss Universe and Miss Earth will be selected. Missosology.Org
