A 23-year-old Glacis resident was crowned Miss Seychelles 2017 on Saturday, August 26.
Hilary Joubert, who said she joined the pageant to build up on her self-esteem, will now head on to compete at the 2017 Miss World finals to be held in November in China.
Petra Tamatave and Serah Jumaye finished first and second runners-up, respectively.
Joubert also bagged the People’s Choice Award, while Jumaye was named Best in Evening Wear.
The other awards went to Seychelle Worth (Miss Sports and Best Project), Angie Denousse (Miss Talent), Tracy Francoise (Miss Photogenic), and Nerli Haide (Miss Personality). Missosology.Org
